In the Korean language, ‘ah’ (아) can mean many things but also nothing at all. From a sigh to an exclamation, a shout, or a filler, an ah can be interpreted with varying connotations. So can the alphabet ㅎ (h), which looks like an ah flipped to its side. When Koreans text or message, the ㅎ can represent a range of emotions ranging from positive or negative. 

Sometimes, the news is so incredulous that I don’t even know how to react. As I attempt to gather my thoughts, I take the time to reflect on how many of my own sentiments and statements I would feel sharing publicly.
